The Well Bean allotment is repaying us for all the watering cans we've had to carry this (very dry) summer. Tomatoes, cucumbers and flowers are growing in abundance, with a bumper crop of sweetcorn and squash on the way.
Yields of potatoes and soft fruit are, however, down, due to the heat and drought conditions. We definitely need lots and lots of rain.

The wildlife pond looks like a green oasis amongst the frazzled and parched plants in the rest of the Well Bean garden.
