Week 2 of the summer holidays flew by for us, what have you been up too??

Last week we went to softplay, enjoyed exploring at forest school with hot chocolate & marshmallows practiced balancing on the logs, explored the local area, found an apple tree, bee house & the pre schoolers were pointing out letters from their name on signs.
A favourite craft of mine is bread painting, the children loved it & we had a ready made snack!!
A visit to the park with ball games & egg & spoon play finished off our week!

We had so much fun last week, the first week of the summer holidays, with no school runs, we had slower days, and managed a trip on the bus to pitville park last Tuesday.

We loved exploring, climbing, balancing, building a campfire from sticks & leaves, singing, chalking, counting & playing ball games.

We are looking forward to getting out & about this week too, hope yoy all have a fab week Xx

Wow, i can't believe this is the last day of Summer term, what an emotional week this has been.

Our structure tends to go out the window a bit this week with celebrations, end of term treats & party tea, however the sunshine ☀️ has really helped & i have been able to pass my tears off as hayfever 😀.

Its always the most difficult week, saying goodbye to the children who are moving up to pre school & school, although we are incredibly sad to see them leave us, we know they are all ready for their next chapter & excited to hear from their families about how they are doing, I always say, its not goodbye, its just see you later!

We have also had the wonderful Julia here doing her work experience & the children love her ❤️

I am looking forward to a quieter next few weeks before some time off with family & friends, have a wonderful summer break.

I look forward to welcoming everyone including our new starters from Tuesday 1st September.

Wow last week was hot 🥵. How did you all do? We had lots of fun & stayed put of the hot sunshine, it certainly was a bit more tiring & we were slower with everything. With the help of the UV tent, shade, fans, frizen flannels, ice cubes & ice pops we had a fab (& sweaty 😓) week X

Well that was a hot week! 🥵 How are you all? We still managed to stay safe & have lots of fun with our UV umbrella shading the sand & water table & patio area water, sand, ice, frozen flannels, ice pops & fans! The children were fabulous & adapted well!
