Healthy workplace culture = healthy, productive, innovative workforce. Send me a DM if this resonates The Well Man Walking is me, or at least that’s the goal. I have been on my own personal development/well being journey since first being put through a Myers Briggs Personality Type test over 20 years ago. Getting a glimpse into personality types and behaviours fascinated me and ever since I have b

een working on becoming the best version of me - and my coaching practice is dedicated to helping others on their own similar journey. My journey so far includes: being raised in a vicarage; I was a member of a Christian Cult for 15 years; no religious affiliation for the last 15 years; I’ve been married 31 years; I have 3 grown up children; I am an Optometrist, working in primary healthcare throughout, with 10 years in corporate healthcare, during which I rose to IT Director, EMEA for Customer Relationship Management; I am an inventor and UK patent holder. I have coached, managed, mentored, supervised and trained many people over the years. I have experienced good and bad managers. I have dealt with relationship struggles, family traumas, control and mild forms of emotional and spiritual abuse. I have taken risks, failed, learned and succeeded. This diverse range of experiences and how I have come to a place of true peace and well being in my own life (albeit there’s still work to do) combined with the training I have in coaching enables me to help clients unpack their current situations and limitations as we consider where it is you want to go and how to get there. You may also have a clear goal you want to achieve: develop confidence, change career, develop new skills and behaviours, etc. There are tools and methodologies I can help you use to achieve your goals. Why not get in touch for a free 1 hour exploratory chat to see if we fit and I can help you.

Spotted this solitary sun flower today.

Made me reflect…

It doesn’t care what’s around it.

It grows from seed.

It establishes roots.

It thrives in the light.

It does its thing.

It’s true to itself.

Be true to yourself.

Establish roots.

Grow towards your light.

Be the beautiful creation you are meant to be.

My favourite photos from a clinic in 2023 but worth resharing.

Day 1 is how the patient presented as an emergency appointment. Anterior uveitis with multiple posterior synechiae.

Day 9 I saw the patient again for a follow up and could not believe the image I captured. The pigment remnants from the synechiae stuck to the anterior surface of the lens look like asteroids. ☄️

Learning is uncomfortable.

Uncomfortable is where change happens.

It’s a mindset that embraces discomfort to achieve growth.

Can you admit that you don’t know, or got it wrong?

Only the brave can.

The comfy cowards can’t.

Want to grow?

Get comfortable with discomfort!

Need support?

Drop me a note.
