Then good news! Our new adult beginners French class starts on Friday 11th September at the Bradley Burn farm cafe in Wolsingham.

Each week we will learn a small conversation in French, some culture and even a bit of slang to really get to know a new language.

Class starts at 11.15. Come from 11 if you wish to purchase something from the cafe beforehand (I fully recommend their scones!)

French Friday!

C'est la rentrée! 🏫⏰✏️

This is the phrase the French use to describe the first day back at school. But it signifies much more than this. It also heralds in the start of a new term where life goes back to its usual rhythm.

It's also a time to set new goals for the year. Have you got any in mind? Mine are to run a half marathon (eek) and to start up new Lingotot classes.

I hope you and your families all settle back into your routines well!

French Friday!

When my oldest was little I said I was going to have a lie in at the weekend. His eyes went wide as he said 'you're getting a lion' 🦁😳

I love the word in French. It means a fat morning.

What extra curricular clubs have you planned for next term?

There are so many options! My head is always frazzled with what to sign the boys up for. I usually think what they enjoy, what will benefit them and what also allows me a bit of restbite!

Does this remind anybody of the Madeline film or is it just me? 🧐

L'uniforme scolaire - school uniform 🎒🏫

I saw this image and immediately it brought back an image of a childhood film I loved of a little school girl called Madeline who went to paris. Am I going mad or does anybody else remember it?

You still have a couple of weeks to get the uniform sorted 🫣
