*****York House Nursery is looking to recruit an early year’s practitioner to join our dedicated and committed team as bank staff to begin with. *****
At York House, learning happens everywhere, from the first visit…it is hands on, fun, memorable and child centred. We believe children deserve great self-confidence, high well-being, and fabulous imaginations so our resources and environments are open ended and enabling…and our best resource is our staff. We are looking for a highly motivated, flexible, enthusiastic, reliable, dedicated, and passionate childcare practitioner with good communication skills who has the needs of the children at the centre of everything they do.
Minimum Qualification: Level 3 in Childcare and Education (Essential)
Salary: Minimum Wage
Due to us following in the moment planning ideal candidates will have an in-depth understanding and knowledge of child development, with a focus on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Experience of working within the EYFS would be preferable.
Desirable –
•Paediatric First Aid Qualification
•Safeguarding training
•Additional childcare related training
•Portable DBS

I Have been in touch with Durham constabulary in the last few moments and been informed there is a chance of a protest having today from 3pm as well as tomorrow.

For the safety of all of the children in our care and staff could you please pick your children up as soon as possible so that we can have the building clear.

There is a police presence in the market place at the moment. If you have any questions please ring
