ALP Leicester celebrated another great week.
Students learnt about LGBT+ week and how positive interactions can help everyone in the school. Learners also received certificates for improving their swimming skills and for some fantastic work in lessons.

ALP Leicester celebrated another great week of learning. Maple Class finished their amazing wooden figures and other learners received certificates for excellent work.
The learners also learnt about the importance of mental health (as part of Mental health Week).

On Tuesday 12th May ALP Leicester visited the Warning Zone on Frog Island in Leicester.
The centre delivers crucial messages from personal to online safety through stimulating and memorable experiences.
The Warning Zone prepares learners for increased independence and their transition into adolescence.

ALP Leicester travelled to Saffron Lane Athletics Stadium to take part in a range of sporting activities.
All the learners got involved and had a great time. Thank you to Cassie (Head of PE) for arranging this opportunity for learners to represent the school.

ALP Leicester students were part of a thought provoking assembly that raised awareness around the importance of mental health.
The assembly included three staff members performing a short song around the importance of mental health. Certificates were also presented to learners for some outstanding work

ALP Leicester students have enjoyed using the school's new cameras and have taken some amazing photos!
Students have been learning about photography and how to use a camera's zoom effectively.
Some of the end products have been amazing!

ALP Leicester learners came back after the Easter Break with bright smiles on their faces and an eagerness to learn. Lots of certificates and awards were presented to learners.
The students also learnt about the major religious festival Vaisakhi and its significance.

ALP Leicester learners have had an amazing Spring Term and have worked very hard!
This included some learners being selected to receive ARRRTT certificates for their commitment and dedication this term.

Last term some ALP Leicester students took part in a cross country event on Monday the 16th March. The students tried very hard and one even won a medal! Cassie (Head of PE) said that they all tried hard and did well to cheer one another on.
