Lovely to spend the morning with young leaders from King Edward Handsworth Girls School and Bishop Walsh learning how to deliver a Youth Sport Trust MLB First Pitch Festival!

Some great communication, clarity and teamwork shown throughout the session. We are really looking forward to seeing you in action when we welcome local primary schools to our festival after half term!

We can now confirm that the Youth Sport Trust Conference 2027 will take place on Wednesday 24 February at the Telford International Centre, with the Youth Sport Trust Awards taking place the evening before.

As always, the event promises to be a platform for inspiration, collaboration, and professional growth. You can look forward to thought-provoking keynote speakers, interactive workshops and valuable networking opportunities. Further details will be shared during the autumn term, with bookings opening in early November.

Celebrating the conclusion of our Go Lead Programme today with 52 girls who have completed elements of coaching' leading and officiating! The girls have not only developed their knowledge of the game but focused on improving their confidence, decision making and connections with others. Well done to all the girls who have taken part! A lovely morning spent with our Youth Sport Trust Go Lead Girls Football Activators today looking at how to officiate a football match. The girls showed a great level of understanding and application of the rules in small sided games - well done all!
