✨YEAR 5✨
What a brilliant half term for our Year 5 class!
We’ve had a real mix of hands-on, memorable learning experiences across the curriculum. In our Eat Well workshop with Chartwells, the children explored where energy comes from in food and created their own healthy breakfasts, thinking carefully about balanced choices and how to fuel their bodies.
We stepped back in time during our History workshop, where a visiting actor transformed into a strict Victorian teacher and turned the classroom into a Victorian school setting. The children experienced first-hand what school life was like in the past and handled it brilliantly!
Out in the fresh air, Forest School has been a real highlight, giving the children opportunities to explore, problem-solve, build, and learn together outdoors. We’ve also taken part in Bikeability, helping children develop confidence and important skills to become safe, responsible cyclists.
It’s been a busy and rewarding half term filled with curiosity, challenge, and lots of enjoyment. Well done, Year 5, you’ve taken everything in your stride!
