📖 Ready, Steady… Reception! This week's activity is #10 Sharing Books is a great way to build confidence for school. Reading together supports listening, talking, turn-taking, and curiosity.

Practitioners can encourage families by sharing favourite books, modelling how to talk about pictures, or inviting parents into story sessions. Conversations about reading at home can help parents feel more confident in adding sharing books to their daily routines.

Learn how to protect your eyes whilst watching the partial solar eclipse!

We probably shouldn’t have to say this, but don’t look directly at the sun. Looking directly at the sun without the right protection can cause permanent damage to your eyesight – so you need to take care. Remember, your normal sunglasses may look great, but they won't cut it.
