Is your child starting A Level Physics with AQA this September? For the first time, we’re opening our A Level Physics teaching to a larger group, allowing us to offer weekly tuition at just £45 per month. Weekly live lessons taught by a qualified and experienced Physics teacher and current A Level examiner, with expert teaching, exam practice, homework, assessments and ongoing support. Interested? After more than 10 years working in outstanding schools in the UK and Dubai, leading on Teaching and Learning, working as a GCSE and A Level examiner, and now tutoring full-time, we have seen first hand just how impactful excellent teaching and tuition can be.
We have also experienced the incredible satisfaction of seeing students grow in confidence, overcome challenges and achieve things they once thought were beyond them.
But we are also very conscious that private tuition isn’t always an option for many families. It certainly wasn’t an option for us growing up.
We don't have all the answers, but we genuinely want to explore ways of making high-quality teaching more accessible to more students.
So, we're going to try something new. We're opening a pilot group for AQA A Level Physics students starting Year 12, with larger groups allowing us to offer tuition at a significantly lower cost.
It won't be as personalised as 1-to-1 tuition or smaller groups, but we’ve designed it to be effective. We’ve thought really carefully about how to make this work, and we have high expectations of our students, alongside the support students need to meet them.
Students will have access to:
• A qualified Physics teacher with over 10 years of A Level Physics teaching experience
• A current A Level Physics examiner
• Live, High-quality direct instruction, modelling and explanations refined over many years
• A focus on the more challenging areas of the A Level Physics curriculum
• Regular exam questions and a strong emphasis on exam technique
• Weekly homework through Google Classroom
• Regular assessments and feedback
• The opportunity to ask questions during lessons
• The opportunity to ask questions throughout the week via Google Classroom
• All the resources students need to support their learning
We've had the privilege of working with some fantastic young people over the last few years, and one of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing the confidence and understanding that can develop when a student gets the right support.
Every student should be incredibly proud of their achievements. Receiving tuition doesn't take away from that. Ultimately, it is the student's hard work, determination and commitment that drives their success. This is just our attempt to make high quality support available to more students.
