🎉 Jewellery Quarter Academy Students Celebrate GCSE Results 🎉

Students at Jewellery Quarter Academy, part of CORE Education Trust, have been celebrating this morning (Thursday 20th August) as they collected their GCSE results 🎓 and reflected on the culmination of years of hard work. 🌟

👏 The school are incredibly proud of Zipporah and Basira. To achieve a clean sweep of 7s, 8s, and 9s is no small feat; it requires not only natural ability but also immense discipline and perseverance. These results are thoroughly deserved and reflect the very best of the school’s academic culture. They have set a shining example for their peers, and staff have no doubt that they have very bright futures ahead of them. ✨

⭐ Jaad's results are a perfect example of what can be achieved when effort meets opportunity. He has shown tremendous growth throughout the year, not just in his grades, but in his approach to his studies. He has worked tirelessly, asked for support when needed, and never given up. The school are incredibly proud of him and the progress he has made. These Grade 4/5s are thoroughly deserved and represent a real personal triumph. 🙌

"Results Day is always a special moment because it recognises far more than exam grades. It is a chance to celebrate the resilience our students have shown and the personal growth they have achieved during their time with us.

This August, the National Youth Orchestra are visiting Birmingham!

There will be an exciting opportunity for local young people to join musicians from The National Youth Orchestra in a Side-by-Side rehearsal on the concert day. This will run at Birmingham Symphony Hall on Wednesday 5 August at 12.00 - 13.15.

This is open to all musicians aged 12-19 playing an orchestral instrument at a Grade 4+ standard. The sign up is available directly from the flyer attached, or by visiting the website: https://www.nyo.org.uk/events-and-performances
