Today we had a very special visitor! One of our wonderful parents, who is a doctor, came in to share all about what they do.

The children were fascinated as they learned about the important role doctors play in helping people stay healthy. They loved seeing some of the equipment, asking lots of thoughtful questions, and finding out what happens during a visit to the doctor.

A huge thank you for taking the time to inspire our little learners and give them such a fun, hands-on experience. We really appreciate you sharing your knowledge and helping the children learn about the amazing work you do! πŸ©ΊπŸ’™

National Baby-Led Weaning Day πŸ’›

Baby-led weaning gives children the opportunity to explore food independently, helping to build confidence, support fine motor development and encourage a positive relationship with food from the very start.

We know that every family's weaning journey is different. That's why we take time during the settling-in process to understand each family's preferences and chosen approach. Whether parents opt for baby-led weaning, purΓ©es or a combination of both, it's always led by parental choice, with our nursery teams there to provide support every step of the way.

Through close partnerships with families, we create positive mealtime experiences where children can safely explore a variety of tastes and textures at their own pace. As they do, they're developing independence, self-confidence and important skills that support their wider learning and development.
