Huge congratulations to everyone at Rubery Nursery School for receiving a Startwell Reaccreditation. They visited the setting on Tuesday and they shared the following feedback....

"It was lovely to come out and see you both on Tuesday. It was great to see how Startwell is embedded into the nursery setting and see the activities and characters all over the building both inside and outside. You have a lovely setting. Please thank all the staff for their continued work on Startwell and promoting its messages."

Well done to everyone for their continued hard work.

It is our Healthy School Week all this week!

We have lots of lovely activities planned for the children including our Guide Dog Sponsored Walks on Tuesday and Thursday (whichever day your child's group is walking). We hope you will be able to walk with us. There will be some guide dogs and their handlers joining us for this event too.

Please look at the displays in the cloakroom/library area and take any leaflets that you think might be helpful. If you have any questions then please do not hesitate to speak to a member of staff. They are more than happy to help.

To acknowledge our Healthy School Week, all children will be given a new toothbrush and toothpaste along with a sand timer on either Tuesday or Thursday. This is to be used at home, encouraging your child to brush their teeth for 2 minutes every morning and before they go to bed.

In addition to this, all children will be able to choose a piece of fruit or a vegetable at the end of their session on Wednesday to enjoy at home.

We hope everyone has a great week. Please let us know of any healthy activities you do this week. It would be great to see photos uploaded to Tapestry showing us what you have done. This might include walking to school or even trying a new healthy recipe.
