Our aim at Greenwood Academy is ‘To make our best better’, empowering our students to achieve academic and personal success throughout their educational career with us and beyond. Through building the foundations for life-long learning we ensure that students have the skills, experiences and opportunities to follow their chosen careers delivering personalised pathways of study. We work hard to ensure every student receives individual advice and guidance that will take them through Greenwood Academy, into college or 6th Form and on to university, apprenticeships or employment. Our ethos and values ensure that we offer an exceptional learning experience and a real and tangible sense of community with in the Castle Vale district. Education at Greenwood is a partnership between the academy, students’ parents/guardians, and the wider community. The strong links within the Castle Vale community are a distinct strength of the school’s provision in ensuring the school reflects local priorities and ambitions. At Greenwood, we believe that good communication with all partners is the key to a successful educational experience for our students.
