The 9th of muharram will be tomorrow, and the day of ashura will be the day after.

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Fasting the day of ‘Arafah I hope Allah will expiate thereby for the year before it and the year after it, and fasting the day of 'Ashura I hope Allah will expiate thereby for the year that came before it.” Narrated by Muslim, 1162

🤲 Remember to keep our brothers and sisters in your duas, those suffering in Palestine, Congo, Syria, Sudan, and all those who are oppressed. May Allah grant them Sabr and ease. Ameen.

We hope you and your families have a blessed day and that this Eid brings joy and the opportunity to congratulate each other after the hard work in worship. We pray that Allah has forgiven our sins during these 10 days, especially on the Day of Ārafah.

Remember Eid is from the symbols of Islam and Allah says:

“That [is so]. And whoever honours the symbols [i.e., rites] of Allāh - indeed, it is from the piety (taqwa) of the hearts.” [Surah al-Hajj: ayah 32]

Let’s all continue to give our thanks to Allah, especially through takbirs, and avoid engaging in anything sinful on this joyous occasion.

It is also important to listen to your imam’s reminders on how to pray the Eid Salah.

Once again, Eid Mubarak from the ISOC! Please keep us in your duaas. ❤️

⏳ Every moment is an opportunity to turn back to Allah. So, starting this evening, let’s take advantage of the next 24 hours by engaging in Dhikr, seeking forgiveness, and making lots of duaa.

🤲 Don’t forget to include our brothers and sisters in Palestine, Congo, Sudan, and all those who are oppressed in your duaas.

Dates to remember:
1. First day of Dhul Hijjah: Friday 7 June
2. Day of Arafah: Saturday 15 June
3. Eid ul Adha: Sunday 16 June

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: "There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days", meaning the first ten days of DhulHijjah. (Bukhari)
