👇 Babysensorybrum The atmosphere is also very welcoming, friendly and informal. The session lasts an hour and begins with baby sign language followed by a variety of sensory activities and developmental games. Massage, bonding activities or exercise may follow, depending on the age of the babies in the group. The middle part of the session is a great time to try out the different equipment and chat to other parents, as well as gaining ideas for activities at home. The session usually ends with a musical activity, a therapeutic or visual experience and the 'Goodbye' signing song. I can vouch for the programme first hand as I took my own daughter Connie from 2 months of age. I truly believe she has developed at a much faster rate due to the baby sensory classes. The classes are suitable from birth and my youngest baby has been just 1 1/2 weeks, I had another baby who was just 2 weeks both thrived and the difference in their development over the sessions have been amazing. The first three months are the best time to get babies involved in our classes but you can join at any point. We run sessions in

Although we run in terms (1-4) you can join Baby Sensory at any point as we have different sessions every week and therefore if you decide to join up your 10 weeks would commence after your free taster session. Please note that a minimum booking of 10 weeks is required. You can now access our on line facility at www.babysensory.co.uk to add yourself to the waiting list or book on any available classes. Toddler Classes are divided into three balanced phases incorporating warm-up activities and skill development activities, where children are encouraged to explore their environment and a challenging conclusion. Activities are short, dynamic and fun with a clear sense of purpose. Children are guided on adventures to the stars, through the jungle, underwater and to different places around the world. Toddler Sense classes always start with the Adventure Play area, which is set out differently each week. Children enjoy scrambling over obstacles, balancing on steps and blocks, crawling through tunnels and climbing over the trestles and ramps. They also enjoy putting the equipment away after play. Adventure Play is followed by structured, themed activities and games led by the Class Leader. The first activity always starts with our 'How do you do?' song, which involves singing, rhythm sticks and holding hands. You and your child will then enjoy an action-packed adventure in a multi-sensory environment. Every session ends with our ‘Say Goodbye’ song. Toddler Sense gently introduces New Explorers, (13 - 20 months) to equipment and activities that are suitable for their age and stage of development. Toddler Sense introduces Adventurers (20 months - 3 years) to a whole new world of adventure and challenge that will lead learning and development forwards, and motivate children to try out new skills. These sessions last 50 and you can join at any point during a term and therefore only pay for the remaining sessions. Our sessions are on Fridays at Walker Hall Edgbaston and Kings Heath Cricket Club
