今日是伯明翰中文學校家長日，多謝各位家長親臨學校與老師面談。看得出大家都很關心子女的學習，這份重視及支持對孩子非常重要。

Our Chinese New Year Fete on 14 February was a great success, filled with joy, laughter and festive spirit.

A heartfelt thank you to all parents, students, and friends of the Chinese School for your wonderful support. Special thanks to our School Governors, teachers, volunteers, and members of the University of Birmingham Hong Kong for their time and dedication in making the event run so smoothly.

We are also truly grateful to our generous sponsors for the raffle prizes and delicious festive food, and to the Lion Dance team for their spectacular performance, which brought the celebration to an exciting peak.

鑒於近日大風雪過後，路面及交通情況仍可能受到影響。為保障學生、家長及 教職員的安全，本校經審慎考慮後決定: 本週六學校將不會開放，所有課堂將會取消。

家長可讓孩子好好享受下雪天的樂趣，並同時提醒他們善用時間在家温習，為下週六的考試作充分準備。

Cancellation of Classes tomorrow

Due to possible transportation disruptions following the recent heavy snow and strong winds, and with the safety of our students, families and teaching staff as our top priority, the school has carefully considered the situation and decided that:
The school will be closed this Saturday, and all classes will be cancelled.

We hope the children enjoy the snow day as much as they can. Students are encouraged to make good use of their time at home to revise and prepare well for the examination scheduled for next Saturday.

Should there be any further updates or arrangements, the school will inform you accordingly.

近日香港大埔宏福苑發生嚴重火災，造成寶貴生命損失及多人受傷。得悉此不幸事件，我們無不深感震驚與悲痛。

我們的心與香港同在，並向所有受影響的家庭致以深切慰問。

本校明白，我們的學生中有不少來自香港，或有親友居於大埔區及相關屋苑。若同學因事件而受到情緒困擾、感到不安或需要傾訴，歡迎隨時與任教老師或校方聯絡。我們樂意提供適切的支持，並願與大家並肩度過這段艱難時刻。

A severe fire recently occurred at Wang F*k Court in Tai Po, Hong Kong, resulting in the tragic loss of lives and multiple injuries. We are deeply shocked and saddened by this unfortunate event.
Our hearts are with Hong Kong, and we extend our sincere condolences to all the families affected.
We understand that many of our students come from Hong Kong, and some may have relatives or friends living in the Tai Po area or in the affected estate. If any students are experiencing emotional distress, anxiety, or feel the need to talk, please do not hesitate to reach out to your teachers or the school. We are committed to providing appropriate support and standing together with our community during this difficult time.

We are excited to offer our new GCSE (Cantonese) exam intensive course starting next year.

感謝昨天來臨我們開學日的家長和學生。各位很體諒我們的忙碌，也有些家長主動幫忙，所以我們特別感謝大家的支持和耐心等候。 各位如有任何疑問，請聯絡我們的工作人員或義工。我們將會在學校飯堂内設立臨時辦事處，方便家長前來垂詢。

各班級尚餘少量學位，歡迎各位於星期六到學校辦事處辦理入學手續，手續完成後便可以直接上課。廣東話班於早上10:00開始至下午12:15。 普通話班則在12:45至下午3:00。

伯明翰中文學校可以為你的子女提供優秀學習環境和氣氛，校內課餘興趣班不但可以陶冶性情，也可以讓大家認識新朋友，擴闊圈子。請大家幫忙踴躍廣傳。最後再次歡迎我們的新家長和新同學，老師們很期待和學生一起上課，延續文化傳承。
