Happy Days Nursery

Our intent today was to encourage measuring. The children used rulers and measuring tape to see what was long and short. 📏

This activity is to promote good hygiene and why it is important. Preschool used soap and water solution to get rid off the ‘bacteria’ while talking about the fact they are dirty and soap is making the bacteria go away and making them clean 🧽

Enrolment must be completed by Thursday 21st May for this year

Preschool learnt about positive hygiene today!
They learnt that bacteria can spread very quickly and stay stuck to you unless you wash your hands properly 🫧🧼🧴

The preschool children enjoyed our measuring activity. They scooped, filled and poured the water from down low and up high. 🫧🫧

The chicks have gone back home to their farm. What a wonderful learning experience we have had taking care of them 🐣🐣

What a special week 🐣 6 out of 7 chicks hatched and lots of little memories made 🤍

Day 2 update… 🐣
Our first chick has hatched! We’re now waiting for at least one more before moving them to the brooding cage.
The children were so excited and full of curiosity this morning 💛

An egg-citing day in preschool 🐣✨

We had a special delivery this morning… eggs! The children are taking great care of them in the incubator while we wait for them to hatch 🤍

Lots of predictions today—will the chicks be fluffy? Will they walk straight away? 👀

We also learned about chicks and designed our own Easter eggs 🎨🥚

We can’t wait to see what happens next! 🐥💛
