Learning About Hajj Through Play

This week at Cubs Corner, our children explored Hajj through creative play, discussion and hands-on activities. They looked at different resources, created their own Kaaba crafts, and were encouraged to ask questions, share ideas and learn more about the world around them.

This activity also linked beautifully with our Startwell approach and EYFS physical development. Practitioners role modelled how to hold and use scissors safely, supporting the children as they practised cutting independently, strengthened their hand muscles, developed hand-eye coordination and built confidence with fine motor skills.

A lovely mix of cultural awareness, creativity, communication and practical skill-building, all through meaningful play.
