🎉 Arena Academy Students Celebrate GCSE Results 🎉

Students at Arena Academy, part of CORE Education Trust, celebrated collecting their GCSE results this morning (Thursday 20th August) 🎓 and looked ahead to the next chapter of their education. 🌟

Among the students celebrating today were:

🌟 Tobenna Ofoche: Five grade 9s, three grade 8s, and one 7

👏 Abigail Carter: Four grade 9s, three 8s, one 7 and one grade 6

🎓 Janidu Gamade Don: One grade 9, five grade 8s, two 7s and one grade 6

⭐ Ajay Mann: One grade 9, four grade 8s, three grade 7s and one grade 6

Raj Mann, executive headteacher at Arena Academy, said:

"Congratulations to every one of our students on their achievements today. These results are the culmination of years of hard work, resilience and determination, and we are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished.

“At Arena Academy, we want every young person to leave us with the confidence, knowledge and ambition to succeed, and it has been wonderful to see our students rewarded for their commitment. I would also like to thank our dedicated staff and supportive families, whose encouragement has played such an important role throughout this journey.”

Our talented students took to the stage at the Hippodrome, Birmingham for a Matilda performance. They showcased incredible confidence, creativity and dedication. This morning, Year 9 came together for a memorable rewards assembly celebrating the fantastic achievements of our students throughout the year. Students were recognised for their excellent efforts in lessons, positive contributions in form, and their commitment to outstanding attendance and punctuality. We are incredibly proud of everything they have accomplished.

The assembly also marked a heartfelt farewell to our wonderful Head of Year, Mr. Ali. Students and staff reflected on the positive impact he has had on Year 9, and there were plenty of smiles, singing, and even a few tears as we wished him all the very best for the future.

Thank you, Mr. Ali, for your dedication, care and support. You will be greatly missed by the entire Arena community. 💙

On Friday, we celebrated the rich diversity that makes our school community so special. From traditional clothing, cultural performances and food from around the world, Culture Day was a wonderful reminder that our differences are our strengths.

Together we grow, learn and build a community founded on respect, inclusion and understanding.
