Raising Aspirations 2025 Itinerary 🌟✨
27/01/2025
Assalamu alaikum🪷
This week we are learning about intentions and the power in making them.🕰️
A man once gave charity so secretly that even his left hand didn’t know what his right hand had given. On the Day of Judgment, Allah will grant him shade for his sincerity. (Bukhari & Muslim)🤲📿
True success isn’t just in what we do, but why we do it. As we embrace new beginnings, let’s set pure intentions for Allah’s sake, take action with sincerity and reflect and renew our niyyah.⏳

Setting goals is more than just making plans—it’s about having a clear purpose, trusting the process, and staying committed despite challenges.🕰️
One of the greatest examples of perseverance and purpose-driven action is Prophet Nuh (AS). For 950 years, he dedicated himself to calling his people to the path of Allah. His story teaches us that success isn’t measured by immediate results but by sincerity, patience, and unwavering trust in Allah’s wisdom.📖
As we embrace new beginnings this year, let’s set our goals with intention and purpose, just as Prophet Nuh (AS) did. 🤍

After 500 days of devastating conflict in Gaza, news of a ceasefire brings a glimmer of hope. Whilst this pause is welcome, true peace requires addressing the fundamental issue - the occupation of Palestine. The cause is not over, until the occupation is over. The cause is not over until the apartheid is over. The cause is not over until the liberation of Masjid Al-Aqsa. We must not become complacent.
The toll has been catastrophic: countless lives lost, families torn apart, and vital infrastructure destroyed. The blocking of humanitarian aid and targeting of civilians, including hospitals and schools, has led to unthinkable suffering.
For lasting peace, we need more than temporary measures. We need justice, accountability, and most crucially, an end to occupation. Only then can all people live with dignity and their basic human rights protected. We will not stop, we will not rest.
May peace finally come to Palestine. 🕊️

🤔 Ever wondered where the field of Islamic Medical Ethics originates from?
⚖ Allah has sent down the Quran as our eternal source of Islamic laws, together with the Sunnah. All sets of laws have certain objectives – these could be keeping society peaceful or punishing crime.
📿Similarly, Islamic law has a clear set of objectives that are the foundation for Islamic medical ethics.
