From the 2026/27 academic year, we'll be delivering our practical science courses in-house, led by our own experienced science tutors in our dedicated Birmingham laboratory. This follows three successful years supporting more than 315 private candidates through our partnership with BioGrad Education.

If you wish to amend the address we hold on file, please notify us as soon as possible! We don’t want to delay receipt of your hard-earned achievements!🎉

We host examinations for the majority of subjects at GCSE, A Level and IGCSE, as well as Functional Skills and professional qualifications i.e. AAT, NEBOSH. We also accept University of Oxford admission test applications and generic university ‘distance learning’ students seeking an assessment venue close to home.

Our overriding aim is to provide you with a secure, welcoming setting where you can sit your examination(s), safe in the knowledge that our staff are dedicated to providing you with the highest level of service.

We are also planning to assist any learner seeking assessment services outside of our ‘catchment area’ by developing an Examination Centre Referral Service (ECRS). Put simply, we will find you an examination centre, close to your address, willing to accept you as a private candidate. Our intention is to ensure the overall cost of sitting your examination(s) will be substantially lower than those charged by private examination centres in your area. More information to follow on this, as we progress.

Over the past three years, we’ve been proud to work alongside BioGrad Education, supporting more than 315 private candidates to complete their A Level Science Practical Endorsements!🔬

As BioGrad moves to deliver CPACs exclusively from its Liverpool laboratories, our joint delivery has now come to an end. We’d like to thank their team for their professionalism, expertise and support throughout the partnership.

But this isn’t the end of our practical science journey.

We’re delighted to announce that arc exams will now deliver A Level Science Practical Endorsements independently, using our own experienced science tutors and in-house laboratory facilities.

This next step gives us greater flexibility, enables us to shape our own fee structure and allows us to continue providing the high standard of support our candidates expect.

And there’s more to come…

From Autumn 2026, we’ll also be expanding our provision to include Cambridge International A/AS Level practicals - a service offered by very few private exam centres.
