What a brilliant special black and brown belt course today with Sensei Pete Manning, 8th Dan, chief instructor of the TSKA. Two hours of training covering basics, kumite and kata. Sensei Pete taught traditional Shotokan Karate, demonstrating its ferocious power, emphasizing correct technique and highlighting the importance of dojo etiquette - all of it in his unique, approachable and entertaining teaching style. The time flew by. Thank you Sensei Manning! And thanks to everyone who attended - we hope you enjoyed it.

Great training session tonight at Enso Shotokan Karate Club, despite the heat, despite chemotherapy and various other challenges. We leave all that outside the dojo when we train. Never give up, never give in!
