✨ Happy Yom Kippur ✨

Today, we wish all those observing a peaceful and meaningful Yom Kippur.

Known as the Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur is a time for reflection, forgiveness, compassion and renewal.

As we celebrate the rich diversity of our Oasis family, we extend our warmest wishes to everyone marking this important occasion.

🌟 We Can't Wait to See You! 🌟

The countdown is almost over and we are so excited to welcome everyone back to Oasis Academy Wattville for another fantastic year of learning, friendship and success! 🎒✨

We've planned three fun-filled days to kick off the new school year in style:

🍦 Wednesday 2nd September • Ice Cream Van • Special Character Visits

🎯 Thursday 3rd September • Team Games • Splat the Teacher! • Bowling and Fairground Style Games

🍕 Friday 4th September • Pizza Friday • Live Steel Band Performance • Treat Shop

We can't wait to see our pupils, families and staff back together, making memories and starting an amazing year ahead.

🛠️ Summer Updates at OA Wattville! 🛠️

Whilst we are away, it's all systems go at OA Wattville! Contractors and staff have been working hard at the academy over the summer to ensure the very best for all our children on their return in September.

Here’s a look at what’s been happening behind the scenes:

🤸 Gym Roof Repairs: The gym roof is almost fixed and will be fully ready for the children to use in September!

🚽 New Facilities: We have brand-new boys' and girls' toilets.

🔥 Upgraded Heating System: All pipework has been replaced to introduce a new heating system in every classroom—ensuring no unnecessary closures during cold weather (unimaginable right now, we know! ☀️).

🚦 Improving Road Safety Around Our School
Another exciting and brilliant change has come directly from our pupils engaging with newly elected local Councillor Rinkal Shergill for Holyhead. One of the main issues our children spoke about was road safety around the school.

Thanks to their initiative and Councillor Shergill’s hard work, we now have a 20 mph zone surrounding the school to help keep our children safe! There’s still more to do, but this is a fantastic start. A massive thank you to Councillor Rinkal Shergill for her support with this!
