In school this week, we are reflecting on the virtue of reverence. Pupils are learning that reverence means living with awareness that we are always in the presence of the Creator and that all life is precious. They are exploring how reverence can be shown through moments of prayer and reflection, by treating sacred texts and objects with deep respect, and by being still and mindful in places of worship or natural beauty, allowing a sense of wonder and gratitude to shine through.

They are exploring how prayerfulness is also about quiet reflection, listening, and being open to guidance, helping us to live with awareness of our Creator in our everyday lives.
