Newman University Sports and Fitness Centre is situated within the Edwards Building on the Birmingham Newman University campus. The Sports Centre facilities are accessible to students and staff of the University and all local community members.

Introducing your Student Sport Schedule for Semester 1! 😁😁

Are you interested in joining any of our on site sports? Most of our teams compete in leagues against other universities, but there is the option to just train without the competition aspect.

Follow your team page and let us know and we'll add you into the Group Chat so you can start to meet the rest of the team 💬

Official training starts the week commencing 21st September to prepare for Staff Vs Students.

We are on the hunt for new players for our Women's Football team! We're looking for new players all across the field - including a goalkeeper!

Are you a Birmingham Newman University student in September and also interested in playing Football?

Our Newman Women's Football team are part of a local BCFA 2026/27 league but looking to increase numbers each year so we can look to enter the team into BUCS competitions in future seasons.

Training sessions are Monday and Thursday evenings and are coached by qualified coaches. ⚽
