The amount of people that think hitting the gym for only 3 hours a week will skyrocket their fat loss to the moon is outstanding 😅
You see...you could go to the gym 5 days a week but if you're going home and binge eat and not doing a normal amount of steps (8-10k), you WILL be undoing all of your hard work
Weight loss comes down to a calorie deficit
And this means burning more calories than you consume
You wiill need to adopt new behaviours with your eating habits and lifestyle.
Plus, strength training is great as the more muscle mass you have, the more calories you burn at rest... and this allows you to create a larger calorie deficit
Sure, cardio is important and if your goal is to improve your cardiovascular fitness then of course you will want to spend more of your time doing it.
But trust me.... it's much easier to not eat 500 calories than it is to "burn 500 calories" in the gym. Those fitness watches you have are not accurate at all!
But if your primary goal is weight loss, then it's not necessary to spend all your time doing cardio
A healthy balanced diet, weight training and some cardio is key 🗝
