We're lucky, we get to be the calm in someone else's storm most days.

So it's nice, once in a while, to have someone doing that for each other.

Angela and I have been friends and collegues for years.

Now our careers are aligning once more and we have been each other's wingmen, hype women, occasional voice of reason.

Both of us doing work that's really about showing up for women and families when things get a lot.

This was a day of finally putting a camera on us, rather than just texting each other at 11pm about it.

Doors genuinely close this week for Baby Massage for Kings Heath, Solihull and Kinver, all starting week commencing the 21st.

I know booking anything feels like a lot when you can barely remember your name. But this is one you'll be glad you didn't put off. 😃

I'm running The Second Birth Evening.

It's made for second and subsequent pregnancies. It's not a repeat of a first antenatal class, it's for the questions that only show up the second time round, what you'd do differently, how your last labour actually went, and how any of it fits around a toddler who's already up at six.

90 minutes together, just six of us, covering hypnobirthing, feeding and sleep. Then we walk over the road to Grace + James for a drink included and food if you fancy.

Wednesday 21st October, 5.30 to 7pm, at Graft. For anyone due from mid-December onwards.

Theres 6 spots and I'm taking a waitlist before it opens fully for booking. DM me SECOND and I'll add you and tell you more.

This Sunday I'm running Baby Sanctuary, and I've a couple of spaces left.
It's a slow, gentle morning that's all about your baby. Here's what's included:
🤍 A warm baby bath with petals
🤍 Gentle baby massage
🤍 Time to feed, cuddle and settle
🤍 A warm drink and something sweet for you
🤍 Just three babies, so it stays calm and unhurried
And this one's for the whole family:
-Your partner's welcome too
-You'll both learn the full massage routine, top to toe
-You take home a video of every stroke to keep
-Older brothers and sisters can come along with a little job of their own

Right, a couple of gorgeous things coming up, and one of them is very soon!
First up, Baby Sanctuary, Sunday 20 September ✨
Think of it as a proper slow morning all about your baby. A warm little bath with petals, some gentle massage, plenty of time to feed and cuddle and just be, and a warm drink and something sweet for you (you deserve it). Your partner can come, older siblings too with a little job of their own, and it's only ever three babies so it stays lovely and calm. You'll even go home with a mini massage sequence, plus a video and guide so you can do it all again whenever you fancy.
For babies 6 weeks to 9 months, at Graft in Kings Heath. Only a couple of spaces left now, so grab one if it's calling you!
And then, new class blocks kicking off in September 🌿
Small groups of six, a proper skill to take home, and honestly some of the loveliest little communities of mums who end up getting each other through those early weeks.
Kinver, Thursdays at Roots, from 24 September
Solihull, Mondays at Wild Fox, from 21 September
Kings Heath, Wednesdays at Graft, from 23 September
Baby massage is for 6 weeks to fully rolling, and baby yoga follows on as they grow, 3 months to fully crawling.

Already done the massage course? This is your morning to just enjoy it all, no learning required, only the lovely bits.

New? I'll teach you all a full body massage routine, top to toe, so you go home able to do it that night. You'll get the video of every stroke to keep too, for the tired evenings (when it won't quite come back to you 🫠). An older brother or sister is welcome as well, as long as they can be fairly calm, so nobody's left out.

Just three babies (one space has gone already), so it stays quiet and unhurried, the way a morning like this should be. Sweet treats, flowers and fizz too xx
