Following a recent strategic review, the University has confirmed that its Master of Research (MRes) programmes will not be running for the September 2026 intake.

The affected programmes are:

🔹 MRes Artificial Intelligence
🔹 MRes Business and Management
🔹 MRes Cyber Security
🔹 MRes Data Science
🔹 MRes International Relations
🔹 MRes Mechanical Engineering
🔹 MRes Public Health

If you or someone you know had plans to apply for one of these routes, please don't worry there are excellent alternatives available. The University's wide range of Postgraduate Taught (PGT) programmes, including MA and MSc degrees, remain open and offer strong academic and career progression pathways.
