Knitting For All: Kings Heath & Moseley

We're back! ❤ We are so excited to restart one of our classes at Colmore Junior School. These were super popular before lockdown and numbers are limited so get in touch if you would like further info or to reserve a spot. Your child must attend the school to book a place.

Classes starts 14th September.

I am definately a knitter at heart but it has always annoyed me that I have never been able to properly get to grips with crochet (because where's the other needle right?!?)...... until now! I think I finally have the right to call myself a 'chrocheter'! 🙌🏻❤ (but I will always prefer knitting 🤫) what do you think?

Finished my by I was lucky enough to hear Georgia speak recently about her process and the inspiration she draws from architecture. She's lovely and I will definately be looking out for her designs in future ❤

Yes I know England are playing but frankly I'm much more excited about the progress with my Ingalls sweater by 🤫😂❤

Hi everyone, just a quick update post to say I'm planning on resuming classes in the new school year. I will be sending out emails with booking details during the summer holidays and children who were attending classes previously will be given first refusal on places. Please say hi to your children for me and let them know they have been missed, my days have definately been alot quieter and less eventful without them! ❤

You will have to excuse my humble brag but I have been a bit down in the dumps lately after not being able to run our classes for over a year now so getting this today really cheered me up!

Over lockdown I took on some test knitting to keep my fingers moving and earn a little money. Today I got the below feedback from a company and I wanted to share it with you because when times are rough I think it’s important to look for even the smallest bit of sunshine and blow your own trumpet!

I had a surprise arrive in the post today from my sister courtesy of Stitch Studio. He's beautiful (my photography skills don't do him justice!), the craftswomanship is perfect and he brought a much needed smile to my face. I wanted to share incase anyone is looking for the perfect pick me up for their little (or big) crafters who may well be fed up at the moment just like mine 🐻❤

When you're a lazy impatient knitter who can't be bothered to do a swatch to check your gauge and end up with a Soldotna cropped jumper (Caitlin Hunter) that's waaaay too small for you but luckily fits your beautiful niece perfectly ❤ Learn from my mistakes everyone, never skip the swatch!

What do childrens knitting teachers do when they can't run classes?... knit dog jumpers of course! 🤷‍♀️

It's a FREE 5-part mini course with 4 simple projects to get children started with knitting. Excellent as a reminder for kids who have attended our classes, parents looking to support our Kid Knitters to continue knitting at home while classes aren't running and complete beginners aged 6yrs and up who would like to learn a new skill!
