Loudmouth is an innovative theatre in education company which helps schools and other organisations

Our sessions help children and young people with the skills, knowledge and understanding needed to deal with any issues they may face and ensure that they develop safe, happy and healthy relationships. Loudmouth started in 1994 and delivers over 800 sessions each year, our friendly, accessible and proven approach will make a valuable addition to any existing PSHE programme.

Our My Mate Fancies You programme has helped over 100,000 children feel prepared and confident about the physical and emotional changes of puberty — in a way that is age-appropriate, inclusive and memorable.

Must be based in the West Midlands and have a full UK manual driving license.

Full time role with training and benefits. Initial 7 month contract.

We have an exciting opportunity for 2 Actor Facilitators to join our team in January 2026.

As an Actor Facilitator at Loudmouth, you’ll take on a variety of leading roles in our theatre-in-education programmes, bringing teenage characters to life and supporting children and young people on important safeguarding topics. This is a role where you act most days and can really make a difference.

Contract Details:
• Start: Tuesday 6 January 2026.
• End: Monday 20 July 2026.
• Salary : £25,500 p.a pro rata.
• Potential for a permanent role after the contract.

What You’ll Do:
• Perform in our successful, high-impact educational programmes.
• Tour schools, colleges and other venues across the Midlands (with overnight stays elsewhere in the UK).
• Work closely with a supportive and experienced team.

What We’re Looking For:
• A versatile actor confident in playing teenage characters.
• Someone with experience working with children and young people.
• Lives close to our base in Birmingham.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).

My Mate Fancies You is our longest running theatre in education programme for primary schools. We have been teaching children about the physical and emotional changes that take place during puberty for 30 years.
