Early closure: UPDATE

SCHOOL WILL CLOSE At 1pm on THURSDAY 25th June

Our Trust agreed that children were able to be picked up from 1pm today (a message was emailed out) and that school will close at 1pm tomorrow.

At St. Clement's we are proud to celebrate the rich diversity of our school community. This week has been Cultural Appreciation Week and as part of the celebration, on Friday 26th June, children are invited to wear traditional/cultural dress that reflects their family heritage (for example, an Indian sari, Islamic dress, or a Scottish kilt).

Please note, if children choose not to wear cultural dress, they should wear school uniform - it is NOT a non-uniform day.

School Trip to Sutton Park - Fri 3rd July

Early closure: 24th, 25th June 2026

Looking forward to the rest of the week, and the rising temperatures, we have decided to invite parents to take their children home from 2pm on Wed 24th, Thurs 25th and possibly Fri 26th June.

It is not compulsory for you to collect your child but we do feel this will be beneficial for them for the rest of this week. If the weather changes/ cools, obviously we will revisit this.

Friday's assembly will be rescheduled.
All afterschool clubs on Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th June have been cancelled.

Tues 7th July (KS2) 9:30am - 11am

Parents and carers are welcome to attend and watch their child’s event. Please come via Butlin Street gate.

Please note: these events are weather dependent and may be rescheduled/cancelled due to poor weather.

High Temperatures and Red Weather Warning

Due to high temperatures and red weather warnings that are in place over the next few days, parents are advised to send pupils to school in summer dresses/shirts & shorts or P.E Kit.

This is not non-uniform and should be school P.E Kits. Water bottles are advised along with sun hats and sun cream.
