🕌 Salah Assessments Underway at the BQA🕌

All students aged 10+ will be tested on their Salah in Arabic and English. This assessment is compulsory and forms an important part of their Islamic education.

Over 120 girls and boys have now passed this module by way of a presentation as shown, Alhamdulillah.

🙏 Does Your Child Know Their Salah — and Understand What They Are Saying to Allah? 🙏

This is Umar Hussain, one of our students, who is giving a presentation of his Salah, Arabic and English.

Every day, our children stand before Allah in prayer, but do they truly understand the words they recite?

At Birmingham Qur’an, we believe every child aged 10+ should know their Salah in Arabic with excellent pronunciation and understand its English translation. When children understand the meaning of their Salah, prayer becomes more than memorised words—it becomes a heartfelt conversation with their Creator.
Allah says:

"Successful indeed are the believers, those who are humble and devoted in their prayer." (Qur’an 23:1-2)
🌟 Through our Salah Project, over 120 children have already learned their Salah with translation in just the last two weeks.

🌟 By the permission of Allah, we hope to see 250 children complete this blessed learning journey within the next two weeks.

As parents, we work hard to prepare our children for success in this world. Let us also prepare them for success in the next.

Ask yourself tonight: Does my child know what they are saying to Allah in Salah?
May Allah make our children among those who establish Salah with understanding, sincerity, and love. Āmīn. 🤲

13 Year old Ayaan Majed becomes a Hafiz of the Holy Qur'an - Alhamdulillaah!

🌹 Congratulations to Our New Young Hafiz! 🌹

The Birmingham Qur'an Academy and Bahu Trust are delighted to congratulate Ayaan Majed, aged just 13, on completing the memorisation of the Holy Qur'an and becoming a Hafiz of the Qur'an.

This is a tremendous achievement and a moment of pride for his family, teachers and the wider community. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to his parents, Majid Bashir and Nazish Majed, and sincere gratitude to his respected teacher, Shaikh Abid Ismail, whose dedication and guidance have helped make this blessed accomplishment possible.

Ayaan, who attends Moseley Secondary School, aspires to become a medical doctor. His achievement reminds us that true success is found in both Deen and Dunya. The discipline, focus and perseverance required for Hifz often help students excel academically and develop the qualities needed for success in all areas of life.

May Allah preserve the Qur'an in Ayaan's heart, bless him with success in his studies, make him a means of benefit to humanity, and grant him a bright future filled with knowledge, sincerity and barakah.
