Thank you to Laurence Turner MP for visiting Best Start Family Hubs Northfield and taking the time to speak with our staff and families. It was great to share more about the support available at our hub and the work we do with local families.

Best Start Family Hubs are places where families can access support focused on SEND across different services in a supportive environment.

Thank you to the staff at Best Start Family Hubs Northfield on New Street, Frankley, for welcoming me this week, and to some of the parents who gave up their time to talk.

We all know that navigating the world of SEND can be frustrating and even overwhelming. So it's a cause for hope to see so many services - from NHS to DWP to Northfield Community Partnership advice brought together under one roof.

Best Start centres are now being funded across more communities throughout England.

Some of us remember Sure Start centres for early years which changed hundreds of thousands of lives. Best Start is the same principle reborn and made eligible to even more people. I can't praise the dedicated professionals who make these services possible highly enough.
