ALS is back in action!
After suspending our programmes during lockdown, Active Learning Support is thrilled to be back working with local schools and SCCB college in delivering our education programme supported by the British Radio Car Association.

The team at ALS will be working from their homes during this challenging period so remain contactable by phone or email.

Today ALS ( in conjunction with SCCB) have visited Bishop Challoner Catholic College in Kings Heath, Birmingham, where we delivered an introductory session to STEM subjects through the use of radio controlled vehicles.

Today ALS are engaging and delivering our radio controlled education programme to learners from the Lindsworth School during a visit to SCCB. The Lindsworth School delivers a provision designed to support and engage with young people with high needs and challenging behaviours.

The next 2 days will see ALS supporting the MK Innovates STEM event being held at the Centre:MK
ALS will be showcasing our educational programmes and delivering workshops to visitors keen to have a go before offering a chance to try out our 'Arrive & Drive' track, whilst being supported by the BRCA.

Doing lots of work with colleges helping at Open Days to promote their STEM courses. Learners can be put off of STEM believing them to be difficult and serious subjects but ALS uses RC vehicles to showcase how STEM can be fun . . .

Many learners find STEM subjects difficult but ALS have found a way to add the fun factor to lessons whilst studying for a Level One Accreditation. Intrigued and keen to know more then contact us . . .
