Living with a movement disorder can affect so many parts of everyday life - but with the right support, people can continue to learn, adapt and work towards greater independence. 💙

At NICE, our Adult Services support people living with conditions including Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, stroke and other movement disorders through Conductive Movement Therapy.

Our programmes are highly personalised, helping each individual develop practical strategies to improve movement, maintain independence and build confidence in everyday activities.

Support can include:

Regular weekly sessions
Intensive courses
One-to-one advice and follow-up support
Face-to-face and online support

Whether someone is adapting after a stroke, learning to manage a progressive condition, or looking for new ways to approach everyday tasks, our focus is always on what is possible.

🏆 Join The Ruby Games and celebrate 40 years of NICE!

As part of our 40th anniversary celebrations, we’re inviting individuals, families, community groups and businesses to take on their own fundraising challenge in support of NICE. ❤️

Your fundraiser can be completely your own. You could take on a sponsored walk or run, organise a bake sale, set yourself a fitness challenge, hold an event, get your workplace involved or come up with something completely different!

Together, we’re aiming to raise £40,000 for 40 years, helping NICE continue to support children and adults with movement disorders.

We’ve already raised an incredible £12,000, but we still have a long way to go – and we’d love you to be part of it.

🏅 The top fundraisers in our Community and Corporate categories will also receive a special NICE Trophy!

Ready to take on your own challenge?

🏃‍♀️ From 50km to 100km – Sarah did it! ❤️

Earlier this summer, Sarah took on the incredible Race to the Stones challenge in memory of her friend, Matilda, raising an incredible £2,875.91 for NICE, plus £287.50 in Gift Aid – bringing the total impact of her fundraising to £3,163.41! 🙌

After completing 50km during the official race, Sarah wasn’t ready to give up on her goal. She later took on the challenge again – this time completing the full 100km self-supported! 🙌

It’s an incredible achievement and a wonderful tribute to Matilda’s memory. We are so grateful to Sarah for her determination, strength and generosity, and for choosing to support NICE and the families we work with.

💗 You can support Sarah’s fundraising here:

And there’s another reason to celebrate… 🏆✨

As part of our 40th anniversary celebrations, Sarah is currently leading The Ruby Games – our year-long fundraising challenge celebrating the incredible people who are going the extra mile for NICE in 2026.

But there’s still plenty of time for someone to take the top spot! 👀

Whether you’re running, walking, cycling, baking, taking on a challenge or creating your own fundraising adventure, you can join the Ruby Games and fundraise for NICE too.

Every challenge counts. Every pound helps. And who knows… the Ruby Games trophy could be yours! 🏆❤️

As we look back on our fantastic Golf Day, we want to give a special shoutout to everyone who donated prizes, supported the event behind the scenes, and helped bring the day together – we truly couldn’t have done it without you!

From raffle prizes and auction items to event logistics and good vibes on the course, your generosity helped us raise vital funds for children and adults living with movement disorders.

Together, we’re making a real difference through the power of Conductive Education – and for that, we are very grateful.

Here’s to the whole NICE community – sponsors, donors, players and supporters alike – thank you for being part of something so special. 💫
