Our first Year 12 cohort has started the academic year with an exciting and inspiring visit to the University of Birmingham.

Students had the opportunity to explore the world of medicine through hands-on workshops, gaining experience with equipment and techniques used by future doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals, and it only took 30 minutes to get there!

From cardiology and economics to anthropology and beyond, students chose sessions that sparked their curiosity and helped them see what could be possible beyond sixth form.
And for many, it was their first time travelling by train and experiencing life on a university campus!

We are excited to continue supporting our students as they work toward achieving their goals of becoming future-ready. 💫

As we settle into the busy start of a new academic year, we wanted to ensure that every new colleague joining PACT this September felt welcomed and valued from day one.

With over 40 new recruits joining the PACT, the room was filled with excitement and ambition as they took their first steps on their PACT journey. It was wonderful to see such a strong sense of collaboration, with our HR team on hand to answer questions, share guidance, and help new starters feel confident and connected.

We are incredibly excited about what these talented individuals will achieve over the coming year. Together, we look forward to supporting them as they grow, develop, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our pupils. 💜💚

We're delighted to share that PACT has secured £5,000 from the Sheila Coates Foundation Rapid Impact Fund to help us launch Strength in Difference, our Trust-wide neurodiversity awareness and inclusion campaign, in partnership with award-winning advocate J Grange.

Together, we'll keep on building our inclusive culture, celebrate differences, and ensure every young person feels seen, supported, and understood.

With the new academic year starting, it feels only right to look back on the achievements of our Year 11 students, who collected their GCSE results last month and overcame a major milestone in their education journey.

As a Trust, we are still buzzing from the results of PA High as a whole and are excited to see our future apprentices, doctors, pilots, and changemakers take on their next challenge. We are also excited to nurture the students who will be staying with us at PA High Sixth Form as we continue to develop their journey within education and help them be the very best they can be.
