The Association of Apprentices asks employers and training providers to share the following opportunity with their apprentices:

Apprentices in and around Manchester are invited to The BIG Apprentice Connect, a free in person event at Manchester Metropolitan University on Thursday 4 June 2026 (4–7pm).
The session can be logged as off the job training and focuses on practical workplace skills, including managing change, building resilience and spotting opportunities during an apprenticeship. Refreshments and informal networking are included.

Salary/Hourly Rate: £26,309 per year

Location: Aston Villa Football Club, Villa Park, Aston, Birmingham, B6 6HE
Reporting to: Head Chef

Hours/Working Pattern: 40 Hours per week, 7 Day Operation (shifts can vary depending on business needs)
Contractual Requirements: Candidates must be aged 18+

As an apprentice, you’ll be right at the heart of the action - learning from talented chefs, mastering essential skills, and getting hands‑on experience preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to top standards. Apprentice Commis Chef | Northampton

Salary/Hourly Rate: £12.60 Per hour,
Location: Sedgebrook Hall, Northampton, NN6 8BD
Reporting to: Head Chef
Hours/working pattern: 40 hours a week, 5 days over 7
Contractual Requirements: Candidates must be aged 18+, No good transport links, ideally candidate would have driving license and own transport.

Compass Group UK are currently recruiting for an ambitious apprentice chef to help create exceptional food experiences for Venue Collection on a full-time basis contracted to 40 hours per week.

As an apprentice chef you will be working in a passionate and hard-working team to create an outstanding culinary experience for our customers. In return, you will have the chance to progress your career with a company that invests in its people, celebrates individuality, and rewards and recognises employees who go beyond the plate.

You do not need to have any experience to apply for this vacancy as full training will be provided as part of the apprenticeship!
