Another fantastic year has come to an end at Sorella, and what a year it has been! Non-stop planning, show prep and rehearsals for Flicks Remix, performing with Chance2Dance at Alton towers, and we’ve also started on new exam work to continue in September. Our elite team have also been working hard behind the scenes…watch this space! 👀 A super busy year, but we wouldn’t have it any other way! 💙

Wow. What a weekend!
There really aren’t enough words to express how incredibly proud we are of our students after 3 amazing shows. They have all worked so hard, and the commitment to attending their classes and rehearsals week-in week-out has certainly paid off. Well done everyone! Our students just keep getting better and better, and we can’t wait to see where they will be at the next show!

A special mention for our ‘Dancer of the Year’ 2024, Ava Thomas! Congratulations Ava! ⭐️

There is so much more to a show than what you see on stage. From the endless hours of choreographing, sleepless nights over things that may seem trivial for an outsider, to the mounds of costumes and all the backstage chaos. This is our life. Dance is our life, and teaching your children is our life. Every child holds a special place in our heart, and will always be a part of our dance family 💙

Thank you so much to everyone that has supported us not only this weekend, but also over the years. Behind every perfectly neat bun and beaming smile on stage, is a family who is just as committed to dance as their child.

The curtains may be closed on Flicks Remix, and we can’t quite believe it’s all over, but onward we go, and we look forward to seeing what the future holds for Sorella Academy of Dance.
