Aston University Cheerleading Club Welcome to the official page for the Aston University Cheerleading Club. Known as the Ravens, we practice all-star cheerleading, stunting and tumbling.

If you would like to get involved, or learn more, feel free to message us! WHO ARE THE ASTON RAVENS? The Aston Ravens are the official Cheerleading team for Aston University, going into their 9th year of running, catering to around 80 members (both social as well as a competitive and a display team). The competitive team of 25 girls trains twice a week in preparation for the Future Cheer competition in February and a second competition of choice. The display team train twice a week in preparation for events with the competition team such as Varsity in April. On Wednesday we attend “Wednesday Supports”, BUCS sporting events where Aston University competes to show support & boost morale. Not only that, there are various socials throughout the year for our members such as PJ Hop bar crawl, Dinner and Dance & monthly team bonding socials such as movie nights, drinks and team-based sporting activities.

Thank you to everyone who came to see us at the freshers fair, tried some cheerleading and also joined in with our raffle! We won “best stall at freshers fair”, an amazing start to the year!🥳❤️🖤🤍We hope to see you all THIS WEEK on Thursday at the Sir Doug Ellis Sports Centre for our taster session 8-10pm, we are all so excited and we can’t wait for all the new comers! You will have the chance to make friends for life at cheer🥹especially at our social which will be happening after the taster session on thursday so bring a change of clothes if needed!😝😝
