Their Way Tutoring

Hi everyone!
I haven't posted on here for some time - purely down to being so busy!

A little update: A number of the children I took on in year 3/4 decided they didn't want to change private Teachers when they moved up to secondary school, so I'm now teaching up to GCSE.

Every child's learning needs are so different so when it comes to secondary, I am supporting with any subjects where I'm required. It has broadened my horizons and meant I can do so much more, utilising skills I have that I've so far not been able to use in my career (e.g. Art at GCSE/A-level - something I've always been passionate about ♡)

Easter has brought about a little down time with my family and seeing some friends but I've also continued to work through, knowing my children need me ♡

Morning all! This week, all of my children return from their summer breaks ♡ Looking forward to catching up with them all and meeting a new child tonight! Sent my way via parental recommendation, I'm looking forward to meeting them & finding out what I need to do in order to help them realise their potential ⭐️

A little post to wish everyone going back to school this week lots of good luck. New beginnings can be daunting - new Teacher, new classroom, more challenging work however, it's also an opportunity to start the year with a clean slate!

It's no different for those homeschooling...new challenges & new learning opportunities. My homeschoolers are all fantastic. They are given the opportunity to take the lead in steering the course of their learning, which is very empowering and has such a positive impact on the progress they make!

Due to some lesson reorganisation, I have one homeschool place and one after school session available should anyone be interested. Feel free to private message me should you wish to discuss further :)

Wishing all my students ad their families a wonderful Christmas holiday together ❤️

Yesterday one of my students told me their goal to get into a high school of their choice - telling me exactly what they needed me to do to help them. This is the rapport I build with my children. I encourage them to take control of their learning...to be confident enough to tell me what they want/need, from which I will, as always, give it all I have to help them realise their dream. This creates a happy & more successful learner in my opinion... & instils trust between teacher & student ❤

Happy half term everyone. I know many children have had tests and exams etc... take a day or 2 this week to just relax entirely... so important to have down time ♡

I shall be continuing to teach throughout this week for children who are continuing through the holiday but also getting a little more free time too. Have a great day all!

Preparing for the new term is exciting, as well as nerve wracking i'm sure, as children move up to new Teachers/schools. Everyone will need time to adjust and find their place in their new surroundings.

I will be here to support any of my students who need me to help manage this transition period & beyond ♡
