Hi all!
No doubt you will be aware that we have completed Yr6 SATS and GCSE exams and are now entering the new academic year.
We will now be commencing and resuming our classes, which follow the Government’s structure and strategy for the National Curriculum.☑️
Why is this important?🤔
When your child enters secondary school in September, they will sit the school’s own assessments. This is IMPERATIVE❗️
These, alongside the data collected from Key Stage 2 SATS, will determine the sets that your child will be placed in Y7, as well as thise sets as they transition in their secondary school life.
Top sets are set 1 and 2, whilst set 3 is the middle and sets 4 and 5 being the bottom sets.
MOST, IF NOT ALL OUR CHILDREN GO ONTO THE TOP SETS 🙌🏻📈
