A few pics we took on site at this years BBC Gardeners' World Live showcasing the fantastic design on display and creativity at the show. It's a great opportunity for us to be recognised by the wider Horticulture community and the garden-loving public to showcase here!

A few pics of our garden in this year's 'Beautiful borders Competition at BBC Gardeners' World Live. The team came away with a Silver Merit Award from the judges for their garden which worked to the brief of 'every space counts'.

This year our College Horticulture team are back at BBC Gardeners' World Live entering the Beautiful Borders competition. This entry, called 'Bursting at the Seams' is coming together nicely to head to the show next week to face the judges!

Thanks to BBC Gardeners' World Live for sharing this - we can't wait to return to the show this June after a top first year in 2017 and show you what we can do for this year's 'Beautiful Borders' competition! 😎

Oaklands Garden Design Studies includes a social area where there is a combination of both growing space and seating area. To utilise space even further, a tree is emerging from the table centre, spreading over the area creating natural shade and movement > https://bit.ly/2KS13On

Today our Horticulture team visited RHS Chelsea Flower Show, Royal Hospital Grounds, Chelsea to check out the world’s most prestigious flower show that inspires millions and leads the way in innovative garden design. Looks like a great show - hopefully this gets them fired up to create their 'Beautiful Borders' garden at BBC Gardeners World Live in June!

Lots of bits and pieces growing nicely in our polytunnels at St Albans Campus at the moment - who knows what these plants are commonly known as or types of? 🤨

We're now back after half term, Spring is on the way and we're beginning to sow seeds for some great garden designs around campus this summer! We've got more exciting projects lined up this year for Team Horticulture - more to follow soon! 🌱🌷🌳🌸
