Just some of our activities and fun in June 🥰.

This year has definitely been one for the children learning to use the potty/toilet.

Well done to this little superstar. He has shown great determination and he’s been so proud of his achievement 🥰

First week back.
All the children came in so well and straight back to making memories with their friends.

We’ve managed a walk exploring.
Soft play (always the children’s first choice).
A day of crafts and free play which is extremely important for children to use their own imagination.
And a visit to a local farm shop to re stock our fruit and buy some we don’t usually have.
We choose 🍒 and all the children enjoyed them.

Quick visit to the aquatics to see all the big fish 🐠

We’re back after a lovely week off.

Beginning of summer term we planted some sunflower seeds. Some children took theirs home but others decided to plant theirs here.

Not sure how but they’re growing really well 😆. And hopefully we will see some beautiful sunflowers soon 🤞🏻

What a week we’ve had 🥰
We’ve tried really hard to make the sun shine. And have had lots of fun on our days out this week.

At the beginning of term we was learning all about our bodies so was only right we had a small recap by visiting the think tank museum.
And we’ve ended the week doing what the children love the most and that’s exploring and being free to try new things they have learnt 🥰.

***Just a reminder we are closed Friday 22nd May and we re open Monday 1st June. ***

Today we said goodbye to our butterfly’s. All the children have loved watching them grow from tiny caterpillars and it’s been a massive talking point during their days.
They was even lucky enough to get to hold them before they flew off 🥰.

Well our holiday week didn’t go to plan thanks to the rain 🫣.
But we made our passports and boarding passes.
Took a trip to the airport and then took cover in the woods.
We set up a plane and the children learnt new words such as pilot, take off, turbulence to name a few.
We used the binoculars in the park to spot the planes flying over.
And then we had a day of role play at our pretend airport.
All the children took their roles very seriously. Especially the security 🤣.
We will be continuing our holiday theme next week 🤞🏻.

We’ve also been revisiting some of our activities from the start of term.
Currently have 3 out of 5 butterfly’s which the children have enjoyed looking at and waiting patiently. And the children’s sunflowers are growing lovely 🥰.

So something very exciting happened today for one of our little ones.
After what seemed forever. She finally became a big sister 🥰.
I know a lot of our parents have been waiting to hear.
And I know harper has kept most of you updated about how she was still waiting 😆.

We just want to say a massive congratulations to mom, dad and the best big sister ever.
We can’t wait to meet baby banana.
