KEHS ROCstars take off to the National Finals 🚀👏

The challenge involved designing, building and launching a rocket to carry an egg safely through flight while meeting strict altitude and flight duration targets. 🎯

The team achieved second place at their regional event, only missing first place by four points. They will now compete against 19 other teams for the opportunity to represent the UK internationally.🥈 🙌

Up with the lark this May Day 🌅🪶

KEHS & KES Pupils, parents and staff gathered at Winterbourne Gardens to experience the Dawn Chorus. Learning to recognise bird calls and enjoying a relaxed early morning together in nature. ✨

A fantastic achievement at the start of the summer term, as our U15 cricket team finished 5th nationally at the Indoor Finals 🏏👏

Marking only the second time they have played at Lord’s. A moment to be incredibly proud of 🙌🎉

Our P.E department were delighted to welcome sports scientist Caroline Tarnowski (GSSI), who gave pupils a fascinating insight into the science behind elite performance. 🤝👟

With a focus on nutrition and female athletes, pupils also enjoyed a practical session planning post‑exercise snacks and hydration strategies.🍌🏃‍♀️

Introducing our new Biodiversity Ambassadors, Sofia and Ruby 🌿

Both are passionate about sustainability and are already planning initiatives. From wildflower meadows and bee hotels to improving recycling and supporting conservation charities across the community. 🐝🤝
