We are hiring at our Handsworth nursery.
◦ We are looking for a full time, fully qualified ambitious and qualified person to join our team. The nursery nurse will need to meet high standards and implement this as part of the job role. You will need to make sure that all children are happy and are in a fun, stimulating learning environment each day.
You will have a full understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and the welfare requirements and you will ensure that this is
delivered in the setting and that all the children are meeting their learning potential.
Qualifications
· Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development or
· A degree or foundation degree in Early Years with at least two years nursery nurse experience
Skills required
· A warm, caring, patient nature.
· Excellent communication skills.
· A sense of responsibility.
· To be creative.
· To be an enthusiastic team member and team leader.
· To work well under pressure.
· To be efficient, organised, hardworking and reliable.
· Have a full understanding of the EYFS including the welfare requirements be able to support the staff as needed.
· Extensive experience required/preferred.
· One day work trial will be required
· DBS required (On update service)
