🐍🦎 THROWBACK TO ZOOLAB! 🕷️🐸

Last Monday, we had a very special visit from zoolab, and what an exciting experience it was!

Our Babies enjoyed a wonderful show and tell, our Toddlers got involved with a show and tell full of actions, and our Pre-Schoolers enjoyed a story with actions alongside an exciting show and tell! 📚✨

The children had the opportunity to see and learn about some amazing creatures, including a gecko, tarantula, snake, frog, snail and cockroach! 🐌🪳🐍

This fantastic experience linked beautifully with Wildlife Day on 4th September and Read a Book Day on 7th September, supporting our children's Communication and Language, Literacy and Understanding the World skills through hands-on, meaningful experiences. 🌍📖

We all had such a fantastic time and we can't wait to welcome Zoolab back again soon!

At Little Memories Day Nursery, we believe in giving children opportunities to explore, discover and learn through exciting real-life experiences as part of The Little Curriculum. 🌟

A few weeks ago, we were delighted to renew our Startwell Award! 🏆

A huge well done to our amazing team for their continued commitment to embedding Startwell throughout our setting. From encouraging healthy eating 🥦, promoting great oral health 🦷, to getting our little ones active through physical exercise 🏃‍♀️, we’re helping our children build healthy habits for life!

Today we're celebrating our four-legged friends who bring so much love, fun and happiness into our lives. Whether they're chasing balls in the park, enjoying cuddles on the sofa, or greeting us with wagging tails after a long day, dogs have a wonderful way of making every day brighter.

Yesterday our Preschoolers had a wonderful trip to the Secret Garden! 🌿🤫 We listened to the “crunchy crunch” of the leaves, explored nature and collected sticks, leaves and pine cones ready for our autumn activities. 🍁🌰

We finished our adventure with lots of fun games, including Duck Duck Goose, tag and even making our own campfire! 🔥❤️
