The Birmingham Newman University community has been embracing the festive season alongside staff, students, and the wider community 💙
Highlights include the annual Christmas Carol Service, Santa’s Grotto welcoming children from a local primary school, Christmas stalls promoting a “bring what you can, take what you need” ethos, and Jolly Jumper Days, raising funds for Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
It has been wonderful to welcome the community 🤩

PSA‼️ Between Monday 9 December and Friday 13 December, all of the region’s buses will be free to use from 7pm onwards! Simply hop on board and travel anywhere across the West Midlands bus network.
This initiative is designed to encourage people to leave their cars at home and avoid the stress and expense of driving and parking during the busy holiday season🎄

We were excited to welcome Year 11 students from St Benedict's Catholic High School and Saint Augustine's Catholic High School And Sixth Form Redditch, for a Higher Education Taster Day!
The day included a campus tour and engaging sessions on higher education, university life, student finance, and student support.
It was fantastic to showcase what Birmingham Newman University has to offer and inspire the next generation of students! 💙

To the future students of Birmingham Newman University in 2124...on Wednesday 6th November 2024, history was made 🤩
Students and staff gathered in the Ryland Quad to plant a time capsule, commemorating a major milestone in our estate improvement project.
This project will introduce an outdoor learning area, a new catering outlet, and green spaces for students, staff, and visitors to enjoy, socialise, and work.
The capsule will be uncovered by future generations in 2124 - 100 years from now.
