More than a month on from and we’re still reflecting on what an incredible evening it was.

Thank you to Studio 77 for beautifully capturing the special moments that made the event so memorable.

We were also honoured to hear from Dan Windsor, Kayode Olojugba, Clive Lawrence OBE and Elliot Payne, whose thoughtful words reinforced the importance of inclusion and its vital place in education today. 🌍⭐️

What did you want to be when you were younger? 🤔

Highfield Year 6 pupils had wonderfully ambitious answers, from pilots and accountants to even working with the FBI! Last week, they had the amazing opportunity to connect with inspiring members of our community, including West Midlands Police, Make Change bwbc, and our very own Prince Albert Community Trust.

Throughout the morning, our pupils took part in interactive workshops: learning to take the perfect picture with the PACT marketing team, trying on police uniforms, and even warming up with a few boxing combinations!

Thank you to everyone that made it out to showcase what kind of opportunities are out there to explore! We’re so excited to see all that our pupils will achieve in the future, and we’re proud to support them in every way we can to help turn their dreams into reality

We were deeply honoured to recognise Waseem Zaffar MBE with the Outstanding Achievement Award at this year’s 💫, celebrating a life of service, leadership, and unwavering commitment to others.

Many across our community knew Waseem through his dedicated role as Chair of Governors at Heathfield School and his steadfast support for our Trust. He was far more than a governor; he was a committed parent, a passionate advocate for education, and a true friend to our schools and communities. As a Labour councillor representing Lozells since 2011, he served with integrity and purpose, holding key cabinet roles and working tirelessly to improve the lives of those around him, including leading the introduction of the city’s clean air zone.

Remembered also as a devoted Aston Villa fan, Waseem’s legacy is one of humility, service, and impact. His contribution will not be forgotten.

Its May.

May all of our PA High students have bright and fulfilling careers 💫

Last week, All PAHS students in Years 7 to 10 and Resource Base recently took part in the National Careers Challenge, hosted by The Inspirational Learning Group, working in teams to solve real-world challenges set by Air Products and Chemicals, British Airways, NatWest, and Gymshark.

From sustainability to innovation, students showcased creativity, confidence, and outstanding teamwork throughout the programme. Year 10 students also had the opportunity to learn directly from visiting professionals from Birmingham-founded Gymshark, gaining valuable insight into future careers and employability skills.

Congratulations to our winning teams, who will now progress to the National Grand Finals in July we’re incredibly proud and can’t wait to cheer them on!
