Although the setting of the sun is a little later in August, you can still take the time to start practising going to sleep at a more reasonable hour. Establishing a healthy sleep schedule can help you feel more rested and ready for the day ahead.

A huge thank you to everyone across the Trust who helped make Culture Day such a success at PA High last term. It was a fantastic example of what can be achieved through collaboration, with staff bringing their time and energy together to create a memorable experience for our students.

We packed so much into the day, and the feedback from students was incredible. Their enthusiasm, engagement and willingness to get involved made the event particularly special. It has already sparked plenty of ideas for activities and opportunities we could develop across the Trust next year.

Our students were brilliant and truly rose to the occasion. The cultural outfits were fantastic, and seeing students celebrating and sharing different cultures and communities was a wonderful way to bring the academic year to a close.

Days like this are a great reminder of why we do what we do, creating opportunities that extend beyond the classroom, celebrate our diversity and help build a strong sense of community and belonging across the Trust. 💜💚

As we enjoy our summer break here at PACT, it's the best time to reminisce and reflect on the memories of what has happened this year. Here at PACT, we have created such success stories, and that’s all due to the help of our amazing staff and pupils throughout the Trust. Here’s another amazing year, let’s do it all again but better in the next academic year 💜💚

Before heading off to secondary school, a group of our Year 6 pupils from Sutton Park Primary proudly represented the school at the Brownlee Foundation Triathlon.

Held at Handsworth Wellbeing Centre, the event gave pupils the opportunity to experience a real triathlon environment, taking on swimming, cycling and running in a fun, supportive and fully inclusive setting.

Founded by Olympic medal-winning brothers Alistair and Jonny Brownlee, the Brownlee Foundation is dedicated to inspiring primary-aged children to discover triathlon and develop a lifelong love of being active.

The event encouraged every child to challenge themselves at their own pace, building confidence, resilience and teamwork while celebrating personal achievement. For many, it was their first experience of the sport, making it an unforgettable opportunity to step outside their comfort zone and try something new.

We are incredibly proud of all the pupils who took part and embraced the challenge with enthusiasm and determination. Experiences like these help to inspire healthy lifestyles, nurture confidence and create lasting memories as our Year 6 pupils prepare for the next stage of their educational journey.

Thanks to the incredible support of The Henry Smith Charity's Holiday Grants Programme, children from three PACT primary schools recently enjoyed a memorable day at Weston-super-Mare.

The funding covered travel, buckets and spades, ice creams for all, and access to attractions including the pier and observation wheel, creating opportunities and experiences that many of our children may not otherwise have.

Seeing the excitement and wonder on their faces as they caught sight of the sea, built sandcastles and shared new experiences with friends was truly special.

At PACT, we know that these opportunities are about so much more than a day out. They help children build confidence, broaden horizons, strengthen friendships and create fond memories that will stay with them for years to come.

On behalf of our children, families and schools, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Henry Smith Foundation for making these experiences possible.
