As a setting that offers early opens from 6:30am, we often have quiet times with only a couple of children in. This morning we took advantage of the quiet time to do a gentle focused craft activity - here are our home made paper chains! X

On the menu today... Mediterranean vegetable pasta! This is packed full of hearty veg to give our children what they need for the cold and flu season and always goes down a treat!
It also supports our Startwell agenda, particularly the Fay 5 A Day character!

Look what's growing in the Fig Tree garden! Our homegrown raspberries are starting to ripen. We can't wait for our children to pick them and make a healthy pudding full of these delicious fruits! Our Story
Fig Tree Day Nursery is a friendly, family-run nursery founded in 2011. Fig Tree has always focused on supporting children, nurturing their emotional and intellectual growth. Offering fun hands-on learning opportunities so children can develop and grow their knowledge and skills whilst feeling safe and happy in a supportive environment. We employ dedicated staff with a passion for quality childcare and continually invest in their ongoing training.
We are child-led in approach and work with parents and families to best meet each child’s individual needs. We take inspiration from a number of learning styles including Reggio, Hygge, Montessori and Charlotte Mason and we incorporate these into our nursery decor and approach to early years learning.
